Fourth international saffron symposium will be held 2012 in Kashmir, India.
Third international symposium on saffron was held from 20-23 May in Kozani, Greece. In this scientific event more than 100 scientists from 15 countries participated.
Inauguration of construction of Saffron Institute Complex was made by the Governor General of Khorasan Razavi in Torbate Hydarieh on 28/5/2007.

Saffron Institute: based on the agreement of government ministerial board. A saffron Institute will be established by Ferdowsi University of Mashhadin in Torbat Hydariah.
